That’s What {Che} Said…
May 2, 2012 in Featured Bloggers
One of my favorite bloggers is celebrating her one year blogging anniversary! …and OH does she have some AMAZING giveaways lined up to celebrate. I’m not even kidding… I’m talking MULTIPLE giveaways every day this week. W-O-W! She’s setting the bar HIGH for the rest of us!!
That’s What {Che} Said…

The talented Cheryl from That’s What {Che} Said just recently moved about an hour of me and I can’t wait to get to know her better. How fun to find more local bloggers!
You’ll have to visit her blog to really grasp her awesomeness, but here’s a just a SMIDGE of what you’ll find:
Up-Cycled Sweater Camera Strap Cover
What a great idea! Cheryl gives us step-by-step to repurpose an old sweater into the swankiest, snuggliest camera strap there ever was. I think I’m going to have to put one of these on my to-do list for this fall! I’ll definitely be pinning this one!
DIY Memo & Bulletin Board
Cheryl shows us how to create this bulletin board, right down to the buttons! Love the bright fabric she chose. Goes perfectly with the painted frame.
DIY Ruffle Scarf
She made this from a t-shirt?! What! Love the light, airy feeling of this scarf. What a clever idea. My t0-do list is getting longer and longer. I don’t know whether to thank you or begrudge you for that, Cheryl!
Painted Tile Coasters
She prettied up these simple tiles using Martha Stewart stencils and paint. So clever! I haven’t tried Martha’s new paints yet, but after seeing these coasters, I think I need to!
After meeting Cheryl at Bloggy Boot Camp a couple weeks ago, I can assure you she’s a genuinely awesome person! I only wish we could have hung out more that day. That’s okay though – now that she lives so close, we can hang out more often!
Don’t forget to stop by her blog and enter her One Year Anniversary Giveaways! As I write this post right now, she’s already kicked off 7, yes… SEVEN… giveaways. I’m pretty sure by the time you read this she’ll be up to 77 oh-so-generous giveaways. There’s still time to enter. Do it up!
Hope you guys love her schtuff as much as I do!
P.S. I’m scratchin’ some mosquito bites something fierce tonight. I got home from work, changed into some capris and a tank and headed out to the shed for a little DIY. I took my drill, a hack saw and a Miller Lite with me. Yup, I’m classy like that. I think you guys will love the lil sumthin’ sumthin’ I’m whipping up. Now if only I’d FINISH a project before starting another!
