Finished Decorating the Tree!
December 4, 2011 in For the Holidays, Living Room
I spent some time on the tree last weekend, but I just wasn’t content. I had handfuls of blue CHEAP looking ornaments and they really didn’t do it for me. After drooling over everyone else’s trees last week, I decided I just HAD to change it up. So today, I stripped the ornaments and added burlap garland made from cut up coffee sacks. Then I put all of the ornaments back on, but left out the blue. MUCH better.
Now all I need are presents wrapped under the tree!
…and of course I had to have some fun with my new camera (squeal!)…

Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Judging by the posts on Facebook, I’m guessing many of you got your trees set up. I really need to start crossing some gifts off the list for my family this week or I’m going to be scrambling!

I love all the pics with the dogs hanging out with the tree! It came out great, the burlap makes the perfect garland. Happy Holidays!

WE are anal about our tree.It has to look perfect or Santa won,t come! HO HO HO
The tree looks beautiful! I really enjoy the contrast of the pearl garland with the burlap garland.
Looks beautiful! Love the dogs too
decide to put up two small trees, and I do mean small, about afoot and a half.We are kind of out of room .Wall to wall furniture and a sick hubby take up a lot of space. The nativety is out and waiting for the baby Jesus.
Sounds gorgeous! I considered a smaller tree this year too Joyce. I have to move furniture all around to make room for the big tree and it leaves the rest of the space looking a little out of whack!
Love the burlap. You have the cutest puppies!! Would love you to stop by DIY Home Sweet Home
